Municipal Charger Guide
About this guide

Fewer assumptions. Clearer conditions.

Municipal Charger Guide is a small independent comparison of public Massachusetts utility charger programs. It is not affiliated with any utility, brand, installer or program manager.

Sources and method

We read the program-manager pages and the linked participation agreements for four utilities on November 8, 2026. We summarize the published charger brands, vehicle tiers, participation period, charging restrictions and cost-recovery terms. We do not reproduce protected logos, photographs or third-party reviews.

A source-read date is not a utility verification date. We have not confirmed current funding or application acceptance. Older agreements, conflicting wording and unresolved boundary cases are labeled where they affect the decision.

Ipswich appears separately because the recovered application is restricted to 2025, despite a still-published public offer. It is not included in searchable program comparisons. This is not a complete list of Massachusetts programs or utility service areas.

Privacy

This site has no advertising tags, visitor analytics scripts, affiliate tracking, account registration or contact form. The search filter runs in your browser without sending your search to us. The hosting provider may process ordinary request and security logs. External utility sites have their own privacy practices.

Commercial status

No paid placement or affiliate links are included. We do not sell chargers, arrange installation or submit applications.

Check the original before acting

Programs can change, close or exhaust funding. If a summary and a utility's current application differ, use the current owning documents and ask the program manager to clarify. The source links are on each comparison page.
